The Rhythm of the Rails | 1067

At its core are retired railway ties, their lives extended through functional reimagining. The legs pair polished finish with natural oxidation, juxtaposing artisanal precision with the passage of time. A sliding mechanism invites tactile interaction, evoking a wooden resonance that echoes the rhythmic pulse of a train. Transforming railway vocabulary into a vessel for daily life, the piece carries cultural memory and innovative craftsmanship within its material form.
