Mira Smart Dressing Assistance Device is built upon the concept of Adaptive Care, a subtractive caregiving approach that emphasizes preserving autonomy rather than taking away the users ability to act independently. It provides dressing guidance for individuals with mild to moderate Alzheimers disease.

By integrating an AI visual-recognition display and intelligent voice prompts, Mira addresses challenges such as difficulty identifying clothing orientation and confusion in dressing steps. It helps users maintain independence and dignity, slows the decline of self-care abilities, and reduces the burden on caregivers, offering a more humane and supportive home-care experience for both parties.
